Whimsicals Paperie is a woman-owned and run small business specializing in the design and creation of illustrated stationery and paper goods. In this short post join owner and designer Sarah Collins as she shares the answers to our top 5 customer asked questions.

Are you the artist?

Yes! The illustrations on Whimsicals Paperie products are all created by me using drawing pens and watercolor pencils. Afterward, I scan and digitize them to design and produce the products they will be featured on.

How long have you been doing this?

Whimsicals Paperie officially launched online in 2010 on Etsy (you can see my Etsy shop here) with a handful of illustrated cards and stationery themed gifts. At the time I was home taking care of my toddler daughter and creating things on the side to keep my creative juices flowing. Whimsicals has grown steadily over the last 13 years to what it is today, and I can't wait to see what the next 13 years will hold!

Do you make everything?

I sure do. I not only enjoy drawing, but I also love designing and making products with attention to all of the little details. All of the fun paper products and designs (note cards, notepads, decks, journals & stickers) that you see on our website are designed and created by me! My daughter, now a teenager, loves packaging products, and we often have seasonal help with packaging and production. 90% of our products are even printed in-house, and all of them are assembled, packaged and shipped right here from our Centennial, CO studio.

Do you do custom orders or products?

While I used to take custom orders, the trajectory I am now on keeps me busy. I no longer do fully custom projects, but do still offer personalized products like note cards and notepads. I also take requests to heart! I love hearing what illustrations or products customers would like to see come next, and always welcome your feedback. Many of my most popular products and illustrations began as recommendations from customers like you. If I order, how long does it take to be ready?

Our products are small batch, made to order, and we prioritize getting them to you fast! Though many orders will ship quicker, you can expect your order to be made and ship within 5 business days (6-8 days for wholesale orders). It will be in your hands in no time. And as always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have an order that you need sooner. We can often accommodate rush requests.
