The End of an Era

It's the end of an era... but don't worry, Whimsicals is still here, and so am I. I have, though, decided to discontinue a product that I've had since day one so that I can focus on new things ahead.

Bible verses were among the first types of designs I began creating when I first  started illustrating for cards and stationery. Back in 2007, my husband and I were spending 6 months in Guatemala studying Spanish and traveling. In my free time I was getting acquainted with a new medium and a new drawing style - small illustrated verses, poems, and images with drawing pens and watercolor pencils.

Since those days in Guatemala we have moved a few times, had a child who is now a teenager, changed up jobs, have so many new life experiences and I have now run Whimsicals Paperie for over 10 years! Whimsicals has changed and grown from a side project into something that helps support our family and allows me create illustrations and develop products that bring smiles to people's faces and joy to their lives. 

As Whimsicals Paperie has grown, my goals, illustrations and product offerings have also evolved and changed. Today I wanted to let you know that after long and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to let go of some of those earliest products and illustrations so that I can focus and expand into others. With that spirit of gratitude for my own personal and professional journey from the beginning to now, I have decided to discontinue developing Scripture products. 

To all of those who have purchased Scripture products and illustrations in the past - thank you! You mean the world to me, and I hope those products will continue to encourage and inspire you.
